Zoe Tyson
(Billie)
Zoe Tyson is a fifth generation Texan, but it’s okay because she grew up in Austin. At eighteen, Zoe moved across the country to Chicago to attend The Theatre School at DePaul University, graduating with honors, a BFA in Acting, and the ability to chug red wine. Post grad, Zoe made her feature film debut as a bikini-clad hussy in Stephen Cone’s queer indie film hit Henry Gamble's Birthday Party -streaming on The Criterion Collection- and made her television debut on Shameless shortly after. Zoe played the antagonist, Vicky in Numa Perriers’ SXSW hit, Jezebel, purchased by Array and streaming on Netflix. Zoe co-founded the women-led group Lower the Bar, where she wrote, produced, and starred in many web shorts before branching out to produce other comedy shorts such as Get High With Diana. Most recently, Zoe wrote produced, and starred in F@#% Julie! alongside creative partner Louie Rinaldi at Hollywood Fringe Festival, where they were nominated for Best Play. Zoe is currently in post-production on her first self-produced short film Self Tape, which she also wrote, directed, and stars.
